Dr. Beverly Denise McMillin is a native of Florida and received both her medical degree and otolaryngology/head and neck surgery training from the University of South Florida. She received post-graduate fellowship training in pediatric otolaryngology at the Hospital for Sick Children of the University of Toronto. Additionally, she received her masters degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Florida. Dr. McMillin was in private practice in Lakeland, Florida, before coming to Jacksonville in 1994 to join Dr. Maddern in the Division of Otolaryngology at Nemours Children's Clinic.
Her professional interests include quality assurance, error prevention, and practice management. She is a member of several local, state, and national societies and has served on the Board of Medicine of the State of Florida. She serves on the Grievance Committee for the Duval County Medical Society, the Executive Committee of the Florida Society of Otolaryngology, and is the ENT representative for the Specialty Society Section of the Florida Medical Association. She is board certified in otolaryngology/head and neck surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
